Outsourcing is a common business practice whether home-based or brick and mortar. If you are a home business owner, outsourcing can be a great way to bring in extra income by allowing you to take on additional work. This method is frequently used by those who perform office-related functions as well as those in the freelance writing and editing fields. If you choose to outsource any of your work through your home-based business, be sure that those working for you are totally qualified to perform the duties and meet your high standards, or you could end up making a lot of time consuming corrections that could eventually cause you to lose income.

So, do not try to fool them as they will be able to tell the difference between your work and someone else’s no matter how closely it resemble yours. And, if they detect outsourcing on your part, there is a possibility that they will refuse to pay you, and since you violated the terms of the agreement, there is nothing you can do. It seems a bit exacting, but remember, they are paying you, so they have the right to decide the terms. In other fields such as accounting and office-related work, the clients may not have such a hard line regarding outsourcing.
