List Building - How To Amass An Overflowing List Of Subscribers From Coregistrations

By Fabian Tan

Coregistrations are not really a new strategy in the Internet marketing and list building arena. It has been around for some time.

Have you ever signed up for Hotmail? Did they offer you additional newsletters to sign up for during the sign up process? That's coregistration at work. Companies place their ads there to get more subscribers for their newsletters.

You can also use coregistrations in your own business to generate tons of subscribers. There are a few types of coregistrations:

1. Bulk Coregistration Leads

Bulk coregistration leads are the least responsive of all. They are usually a bunch of general leads compiled by lead brokers and sold at what seem like unbelievable prices of $0.01 each. They are that cheap because the leads are often unresponsive. I'd avoid these whenever I can because they can also lead to tons of spam complaints.

2. Joint Venture Coregistrations

This process generates targeted leads. How it works is this: You advertise the squeeze page of your joint venture partners on your Thank You page or Download page, and he does the same on his pages for your offer. The result is you both help each other build a list.

3. Live Coregistration Leads

Live coregistration leads can be responsive as long as you don't send them blatant ads but instead send them quality free information in the beginning. An example of a reputable live coregistration leads provider is Get Subscribers. It has some of the more responsive coregistration leads around. Although it is a little pricey, the leads that are generated are genuine and they do respond to your emails.
