Instead of investing in just one idea and putting all you have into it, you should have several. Then if one doesn’t work out, you don’t lose everything. In business this concept is very important. One should always have a backup plan, especially if you are planning to start a home business. Obviously, having multiple streams of income allows you to earn more money. The stream of residual income is fed by all of the programs. This enables a person to have a secure and steady income.

MLM residual income is not a free ride. Many people believe that having residual income means they will not have to work at all. This misconception is the reason many MLM businesses fail. People are drawn in by someone’s enthusiasm and hype. At first an MLM may seem easily workable. The concept is based on a simple formula, but simple is not necessarily easy. You must be committed, and there is always work involved.
MLMs are popular because of the draw of earning money over and over from the one-time sale of a product that is consumed and has to be replaced on a monthly basis. Money can be made even if a person never recruits anyone. But, the team building is the way to earn a sizeable income. As each team member recruits and adds people, each of those people do the same and everyone earns money.
MLM is not a risk free opportunity. It is business and as with any business there is risk involved. If a person signs up people who decide to quit then there is a loss of income. So, an MLM opportunity needs to be run like a business. There should be a management structure in place and a staff that actually operates the business.

Earning residual income while working from home is a far better option than commuting to a job to earn linear income. Residual income is money earned over and over from something you do or create one time. Linear income is trading hours for dollars. The more hours you work the more money you make. You also spend hours commuting back and forth to the office, and if for some reason you have to take an extended period of time off, you risk losing your income. It’s obvious which choice is more desirable.
Network marketing is one way to earn residual income. You can start part time, while working for that linear income, with little investment of time and money. Many people are afraid to take the leap from the outside office to the home office. Leaving the corporate world is a pretty scary thought. So, starting your own business by putting in a few hours a week is a good plan. You’ll still have your benefits in place while working on your passion. The most time consuming part of network marketing, as with any endeavor, is getting started. It may take a few weeks or even months to get everything set up and functioning. And that is the way it should be. Take time to decide the direction you want to go, be passionate and properly set up your business and start generating income to build on so you can eventually fire your boss.
Working from home affords you time and financial freedom. Earning residual income while working from home is a far better option than commuting to a job to earn linear income. Residual income is money earned over and over from something you do or create one time. Linear income is trading hours for dollars. The more hours you work the more money you make. And that is the way it should be. Working from home affords you time and financial freedom. Once your income starts to exponentially multiply, you can do all the things that you’ve dreamed of; spend more time with family and friends, travel and work the hours you choose and vacation when you want. Although in the beginning working at home can sometimes be just as time consuming as the hours you put in on an outside job, it is more rewarding because you are in control, you are the boss and you are doing something for self that you are passionate about.
