Without dwelling too much on the negative, it is a known fact that at least 95% of people who start a network marketing business will fail. There are several reasons for this. Some enter into network marketing believing it is an easy route to riches. Network marketing may be a simple concept, but easy? No! Too many people join a company because their sponsor told them it was so easy a baboon could do it blindfolded with one arm behind it's back. In my book, if something is easy to do, it's also easy not to do. Starting and maintaining your network marketing business requires time, effort and discipline. Quite simply, some people are not cut out to do network marketing. If you're looking for an easy, lazy way to build a business then maybe networking isn't for you. And if you think that you are going to succeed without further investment into your business, think again. The initial outlay is precisely that! An ongoing investment into both your business and yourself is required - something I am aware some novice networkers are horrified to hear when they thought they could succeed on a $200 start only.
So, what about those people who join a company under no illusion that it won't be easy and set their goals and ongoing monthly investment budget - those who appreciate you "don't get 'owt for nowt" as they say in my neck of the woods (Yorkshire, UK)! Sure, there are plenty of people who have the work ethic required to be successful in mlm, who still don't succeed. I know of many, myself included in the past, including those who have joined me in business, who have worked hard on themselves and their businesses, used up their budget, only to fall away when they couldn't duplicate themselves and grow a business. Why did these people fail? It certainly wasn't through lack of effort.
The truth is you don't have to fail at network marketing. Failure is not inevitable. It is within your control to buck the trend and succeed.
How do you do this? Stop listening to your upline , unless they are in tune with the principles of attraction marketing and teach you how to grow your business by branding YOU, INC. If you have been sponsored into mlm and have been taught to write a warm list, contact everyone on that list, hold home meetings or attend meetings in hotels, buy leads and cold call them etc. then it is time to stop listening to your sponsor. You are being set up to fail. Sure, these methods have worked for a few in the past, but the majority will lose their shirts doing this and turn their backs on network marketing for good. I've seen many good people go because they couldn't make their businesses work. And yes, I have been guilty of giving this advice in years gone by, but since my eyes were opened to teaching people how to succeed in network marketing instead of how to fail, the only way forward is to brand yourself as the expert and attract people into your business. And by "attract people", I don't mean sit back and wait for it to happen! There is still effort and discipline involved in growing a business in this way.
I must point out though, it is not that easy to just stop listening to your upline. But for the sake of your business and your bank balance, you must. I know how incredibly difficult it can be to do this. You may feel a sense of loyalty to the person that brought you into the company you joined, but if they are teaching you the old, worn out traditional way of networking they are setting you up to fail. It's not necessarily their fault. After all they're only following what their sponsor taught them, and they may be ignorant of this "new way" you have discovered. If they're not prepared to listen to you, you have to be strong and go it alone. You don't have to worry about this prospect, there are plenty of people around who can assist you with this way forward. This is your business, not theirs, and it is up to you how you move it forward. You pay your bills, they don't! Be grateful that your sponsor introduced you to a wonderful opportunity, but you don't have to do everything they say if there is a 95% chance of you failing.
Your success depends on you. Even if you are a novice networker you can become the expert - and quickly too. Find yourself a system (systems work, people fail!) and plug yourself in to success.

“I am an internet marketing newbie. All I am asking you to do for me is to introduce me to the internet marketing from scratch, that is leading me step by step to the internet marketing system. Presently, I have no website, no list and no business yet.” - Akinbiyi Yinka Akinrinola
Many internet marketing newbies have been asking me similar questions and I usually do not bother reply.
Why?
Because the question is too general. Also, I got a feeling that anyone asking such a question is usually not serious in internet marketing.
But today, for the first time (and also the last time), I’m going to answer this question and post it up on our blog, so that I can direct whoever asking such a question back to our blog.
For all the internet marketing newbies out there, there are only 4 steps to making money from internet marketing from scratch.
Step 1 - Make a decision
Step 1 is to make a firm decision that you are going to make it in internet marketing, no but, no however, no unless, no excuse!
If step 1 is not accomplished, there is no need to proceed to the other steps. Quit now and go back to your comfort zone. Internet marketing is not for you. Nothing is, until you make a decision.
Let me tell you something I’ve never told anyone.
I started to explore internet marketing back in 1999, made my first $100 some time in 2004, made my first $1000 in 2006 and made my first $10k in the same year.
What happened in 2006? Did I stumbled upon a secret formula? Not at all.
What happened was …

Article marketing is not all about getting links. It's about getting your articles published on the top, most trafficked, targeted websites, ezines and article directories that accept article submissions so you can experience more publicity, traffic and profits.
How can you make sure your articles are published on the biggest sites that get the most traffic?
That should be the number one concern of every article writer, whether they are a coach, author, consultant or information marketer.
It is easy to get articles published on sites, but shouldn't you concentrate on the biggest and best sites?
This might sound like common sense, but the truth is that not many people know which sites are big and which ones are small. So they spend their time submitting to any site they run across. Most people have no idea how many visitors a site gets, or whether the site is the biggest in the field with lots of traffic, or a recent start-up with little traffic.
If you don't know the difference, then you could be wasting a lot of time and energy!
Are You Using the "Secret Weapon" That the Most Successful Article Marketing Professionals Use to Choose Where They Submit Articles to?
It's called Alexa.
Many people have never heard of this site. And that's too bad, because it could save you and your co-workers a lot of time and effort in getting prospects.
So here's the scoop on Alexa.
Alexa ranks the traffic of each site on the Internet. It is owned by Amazon.com so you know it is a reputable site.
If you go to alexa.com/site/ds/top_500 you'll see a listing of the top sites. As of this writing, the sites that get the most traffic are:
1. Yahoo
2. Google
3. Windows Live
4. You Tube
5. Microsoft Network
6. My Space
7. Facebook
8. Wikipedia
9. Hi 5
10. Orkut
Alexa indexes more than 5 million web sites!
The real power of Alexa comes when you search for a site. You can do this by going to www.alexa.com You'll see a search bar. Type the URL of your company's web site. Or your competitor's site. Or a site that you think is really hot.
Alexa will show you the site's ranking. It could be 100, 1,000, 10,000, 100,000 or even 10,000,000. There are a lot of sites on the web!
How to Use Alexa to Get Your Articles Published on the Top, Most Trafficked Websites
If you type in the URLs of several sites you are considering submitting articles to, you will see their rankings. Let's say one site is ranked 250,000 and the other is ranked 435,000.
Now you know which site gets more traffic. So you'd be inclined to submit your article there first. If you had more time, you could submit your article to the second, third, fourth and fifth site that you searched for.
Now you know how to rank the sites that you submit to.
By the way, don't be put off if a site is ranked 500,000. It might be the highest-ranked site in your vertical market. The way to look at these numbers is the relation of one site to the next. Don't be blind and just think a site stinks if it is number 200,000. That might be a very good number!
How Alexa Can Help You With Additional Research for Your Article Marketing Efforts
You can search by country or language to find the top sites in a country or language you want prospects from.
Most importantly, you can search by subject!
For example, you can search on business, health, sports or dozens of other topics. When you select one topic, you'll see a list of sub topics that help you find specific audiences.
For example, if you type "business," you'll see subtopics for:
· Accounting
· Marketing
· Small business
· And dozens more!
If you click on the subtopic, you'll drill down deeper and find specific sites.
Now you can check out those sites to see if they reach your audience and if they accept articles. And, most importantly see what their traffic ranking it to see if it is worth your time to even go there in the first place.
Armed with Alexa, "the article marketer's secret weapon," you can now find sites that attract the most prospects.

Do you have what it takes to make it as a business owner? Making a realistic assessment of your skills, abilities, and interests should be considered essential. You most likely will not fit the entrepreneur profile exactly, but knowing your strengths and weaknesses gives you an advantage in preparing for the support you may need in running your business.
If your personal profile does not seem to line up with the following profile of characteristics of the typical successful entrepreneur, give some long, hard thought as to whether you are really cut out to be a business owner. The matter of your success is far too important to leave to chance.
#1 - Drive to Achieve
One factor that is found most often is highly successful business owners is a tremendous drive to achieve. This attitude tends to override everything else and seems to have almost everything to do with success.
#2 - Desire to Succeed
Success can be considered to be the constant achievement of worthwhile goals. Exactly what are worthwhile goals is a matter of individual interpretation. Obviously, any measure of success must agree with the Word of God.
#3 - Overall Tendency to Follow Through
This applies to any personal commitment or the accomplishment of any task. Even when the going gets tough, the entrepreneur is not apt to quit halfway through. In a word, you must have perseverance.
#4 - Positive Mental Attitude
Being generally optimistic even in challenging situations is a kind of attitude that generally grows out of being confident in who you are and understanding your abilities. Knowing who you are in Christ, and that you are called to the business arena, are major contributors to this.
#5 - Objective Approach
This entails the ability to realistically and accurately view each situation and assess associated risks and determine an appropriate course of action. Being able to honestly determine one's own abilities and limitations is vital, as is not thinking more highly of yourself than you ought.
#6 - A Respectful Attitude Toward Money
This includes a tendency to look upon money as a means for accomplishing things, rather than as a thing to be sought after as an end in itself. The love of money is still the root of all evil.
#7 - A Tendency to Anticipate Developments
Those who possess the ability to see things coming are able to take the appropriate course of action, rather than reacting only when circumstances are upon them. The prudent see danger and protect themselves.
#8 - Resourcefulness
The ability to solve unique problems in unique ways is vital for entrepreneurs. They are often demanded to handle new developments with no previous experience to rely on as a guide.
#9 - Stable Relationships
Being emotionally stable, cheerful, cooperative, and able to get along well with employees and associates are vitally important characteristics of successful business owners.
#10 - Effective Communications
The ability to effectively communicate and present your ideas for both verbal and written means is extremely important. You must be able to communicate an idea or vision beyond just stating the facts in order to generate a response in others.
#11 - Technical Knowledge
An entrepreneur is usually well-rounded, knowledgeable about business operations and practices, and able to skillfully utilize information towards effecting reasonable results.
#12 - Understands Own Skills
Successful entrepreneurs have taken a good, honest look at themselves. Answering the following questions is a good place to start. What do you like to do best? What are your three major skills, and what can you do better than most people? Describe your management abilities and how your experience applies to your business.
Running a business is nothing like working for someone else. You are responsible for everything. Truly, the buck stops with you. Are you a self-starter, capable of planning, organizing, and carrying out projects on your own initiative? If this all still sounds good to you, operating your own business can be source of immense satisfaction and can provide many wonderful rewards.

With so many network marketing companies popping up everywhere it can be difficult to decide which ones are legitimate and which ones may wind up a big waste of time and money. Here are some easy ways to figure out what sets a top network marketing company apart from the rest.
How long has the company been in business?
To be sure that your efforts will not be in vain, the first step to finding a top network marketing company is finding how long the company has been around. Your best bet is to stick with a business that has been around for a minimum of five years. Statistics show that most new companies, roughly 90% will not last longer than the first two years. Why bother investing your future, time and money into something that may not exist for much longer?
Does the company have good capitalization?
A top network marketing company has the kind of money that is necessary to make gains, to keep up with technology, to maintain itself solidly, to bring in experienced management and most importantly, to be able to continually pay you the commissions you deserve. Publicly traded businesses are required to disclose their financial standings in detail to SEC and government agencies each 90 day period so it is easy to keep track of how the company is progressing.
Are the services or products offered by the company unique?
A top network marketing company has to offer a service or product that is different from the rest of the competition in order to thrive. One of a kind products and services are critical to the ongoing success of the company and will attract more customers.
Are the products or services useful?
Is there a demand for the products or services offered by the company? Aside from having original products it is important that there is a real need for them to generate more business. Products and services offered with a real need at a good price will ultimately win customers over.
Does the company care about your success?
A top network marketing company will have members committed to helping everyone else succeed. This is especially true of the person who is referring you to the company. With a team of people going above and beyond regular recruiting by actually concerning themselves with your success by motivating and helping you achieve success you can be sure that you are working with the right business.
Will products or services stand the test of time?
It makes no sense to invest your future into a business which offers trendy products or services that go along with current fads. A top network marketing company provides products and services which will be just as important in ten years as they are today. Sure, trendy items may seem great while they are all the rage but as soon as the novelty wears off you can wind up at a huge loss. Go with something your customers will be able to use and appreciate for a long time.

New marketers often come online, hoping to make their fortune, but the success rate is slim. According to Ken McArthur at AffiliateShowcase.com, it’s only 5%. The reasons for that difference between the successful and the unsuccessful are myriad, but one reason is that folks don’t advertise enough or in the right ways. Did you know that there are some great free ways to get all the visitors you need?
The best free advertising online today comes from three distinct practices:
* Writing a blog
* Writing articles
* Using traffic exchanges
Let’s look at these three methods a bit closer.
Writing a blog is simple and anyone can do it. “Web logs,” or as we’ve come to call them—blogs, can be about anything, but I’d advise you to write about something you know well. What’s your passion or hobby? Do you have some specialized knowledge that you can rely on to write a blog that others will subscribe to and enjoy? Those are good places to start. But whatever the subject may be, you can capitalize by advertising the site you want to promote in a sidebar to the blog, where space is provided for you to enter links and text ads. Or, you can include information about a product that complements what you’re writing about from another source. For instance, if you’re writing a blog about fly fishing, use it to advertise books about fly fishing that are available at Amazon.com with an affiliate link.
The second avenue to great free advertising is article writing. Again, you’ll want to write about things you know. For instance, if you’re the head of the PTA, you may have some great ideas about fund-raising. Or, if you’re a banker, you may want to write about different types of investment opportunities. Whatever you write about should be accurate and concise for two reasons: you want the article to be accepted by distribution sites and you want people to enjoy your writing. This may prompt them to find other articles that you have written online and allow you to build a following. Once you have a regular reader core and have branded yourself as an author, people are more willing to join your program or pay for your product. Plus, once distributed, your article may sit on dozens of sites, rather than just one, giving you much broader exposure. Use a “resource box,” which is article-jargon for “signature file,” to advertise your opportunity because unlike blogs, you can’t write whatever you want. Articles should never be blatant advertisements.
When it comes to attracting visitors, traffic exchanges have a similar effect, though the results are more immediate. The premise of a traffic exchange is that you view other advertisers’ sites so that they will view yours. This is accomplished via many different means from clicking on words, numbers, or symbols to move to the next ad, or with some, by clicking text ads. Other than “pro” traffic exchanges, which charge for memberships, most traffic exchanges are free to join. The amount of advertising you receive is only limited by the amount of time you want to “surf” others’ sites. It’s a fast, easy way to get the job done.
Because each method of advertising has a unique way of attracting visitors, spending time cultivating all three options is advisable. Yet, if you want to be taken seriously, it’s best to learn how to write cogently before plunging in headlong. A negative first impression can color a reader’s opinion of you forever. Make that first encounter a good one. Since traffic exchanges take no time and little consideration to produce results, start there and expand to the other avenues of traffic as your writing ability grows. Next thing you know, you’ll need more bandwidth to accommodate all the visitors clamoring to support you!

Assuming that you are in this industry in order to secure your financial future, then before choosing a Network Marketing business opportunity you should look closely at their Compensation Plan. This is, of course, what will ultimately determine how much your paycheck will be. Considering the amount of time and effort you put into building your organization, why not make sure that each addition to your downline constitutes a significant raise for you?
Are you looking at your Compensation Plan through rose-colored glasses?
Caution needs to be taken when trying to evaluate a Compensation Plan merely by looking at the way it is presented to potential distributors. Often a company may explain it in their literature and on their website in a way that is simply trying to paint a pretty picture for your financial success.
For instance, some companies would have you assume that everyone in your organization will be ordering their required auto ship and, in the case of the binary plan, that both legs are equally balanced. Yeah, right…in a perfect world! They don't illustrate the reality and consequences of breakage and spillover. These are funds that are retained by the company and never make their way into the pockets of the distributors who put their blood, sweat and tears into generating them.
As a result, the majority of Network Marketers do not understand the dynamics of compensation plans. This is primarily due to the lack of statistical information available in the MLM industry.
Compensation Plan Basics
The first step is to understand what type of Compensation Plan a company offers. Assuming you have a basic knowledge of MLM, here is a very brief overview of the five most common plans and how they work:
- Matrix: A fixed number of people in width and depth paying a percentage based on each spot.
- Unilevel: Unlimited width with a fixed number of levels that pays out a certain percentage for each level.
- Binary: Two people in width and unlimited depth. Pays on volume cycles when a fixed amount of volume moves through each of the sides.
- Stairstep Breakaway: Unlimited width with a volume based percentage payout that breaks away once someone in your downline hits a particular level of sales.
- Aussie 2-Up: The commission on the first two people you sponsor goes to someone up-line from you.
Often these are designed to work in combination with each other, so it is important that you analyze your individual plan thoroughly. Ultimately, however, the goal should be to find a plan that provides the most income with the least amount of people.
Do the math
- How many people will it take in your organization to make $10,000 a month?
I'm talking about passive, recurring, residual income on the backside, not including bonuses, one time commissions and any additional perks. This $10,000 figure can be replaced with whatever dollar amount you choose in order to reach your personal goal for financial success, but we'll use $10,000 for the purpose of our example.
While the simplest method for determining this figure would be to ask someone in your upline how many people they have and how much money they are making, they may not be exactly forthcoming in their response. So the best solution is to figure it out for yourself.
Crunch the Numbers
Although the formula for this equation is relatively simple, depending on what type of Compensation Plan you have it will probably require the use of a calculator. But the time expended on this short remedial math exercise will prove to be well worth the effort and will give you a clear idea of exactly what level of success you can expect from your efforts. It will save you a lot of frustration and feelings of failure later on when you realize your paychecks aren't quite what you were expecting.
Formula for Success
For a matrix or unilevel plan the equation is pretty straightforward. Figure out the average percentage of commission you are making on each level (usually there is a different percentage for each). Then determine the average monthly dollar amount (BV, PV or CV) spent by each member of your organization. Divide that by the average percentage, leaving you with the dollar amount generated by each member of your downline. Divide $10,000 by this average amount and you have the number of people you will need.
Example: Say you have a 5 X 7 matrix that pays an average of 7%, seven levels deep. If the average monthly purchase for each member is $50, then 7% of $50 is $3.50 per person. $10,000 divided by $3.50 equals 2,857 people.
Wow! They didn't explain that in the literature, did they?
Just for reference, for a monthly income of $10,000 a stairstep breakaway plan typically requires anywhere from 1600 to 1800 people (if you can keep them from breaking away), a binary somewhere in a range of 3000 to 5000 (taking into consideration the balancing act you'll need to perform), and a matrix about 2200 to 3200. However, I recently crunched the numbers for one unilevel plan that required almost 14,000 people!
Do your math homework
If you do a bit of investigating, you will find that there are some great Network Marketing companies with beneficial compensation plans requiring less than 500 people in your organization to make $10,000 a month. But don't just take the company's word for it. Do the math! Just because you happen to be mathematically challenged, don't let this deter you from figuring out how much your paycheck will be.
Even if math just isn't your thing, it really shouldn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out. But if you have difficulty it's worth eliciting the help of one if needed. And if you can't find one on a nearby street corner, I'm sure you can find someone who is more left-brained than you are that will be willing to help.
Don’t rely on recruiting alone
One final tip: Make sure that your company offers a product or service that has a legitimate need in the marketplace and that it is priced competitively. The company must emphasize getting products or services into the hands of consumers, not just on finding new recruits. If the company is not centered around the movement of a product or service, your success, if any, will be limited.

Are you new to the internet marketing war? If not, then I am sure you know that the best way to drive traffic to your marketing sites is through content. If you are new; however, this may be a revelation to you.
Most new people that begin dabbling in internet marketing (we call them newbies) all begin with the same question. Now that I have built my website, how do I get people to know it is here? Do I have to spend a lot of money to advertise?
The simple answer is no. Unfortunately, so many people seem to make this a far more complex issue than it really is. Newbies generally spend a great deal of time with things like traffic exchanges, banner exchanges, free classified sites, forum posting, and more. Now, I am not saying these methods are bad ways to draw free traffic to your sites. I have done all of them myself. What I am saying is that there is a better, more efficient way; and it will bring in not only free traffic, but highly targeted traffic.
How can you do this, even as a newbie? Simply by writing articles and submitting them for publication. Articles are the most sought after content online. Almost everyone needs this type of content for their websites so that they can have something to keep their visitors coming back.
Let’s look at a possible scenario real quick. For this exercise, let’s pretend that your site is about cars. You want to get visitors to your site so that you can sell them information, products or services about automobiles. Here is a simple breakdown of a process you can use to generate traffic from car buffs and people looking for exactly what you are selling.
Step One: Write a few articles about cars. They don’t have to be Pulitzer Prize winners. Just make sure they offer something that will catch a reader’s attention and inform them of something they either do not know or want to hear.
Step Two: Add a resource box to the bottom of your articles. This is a very important step. Your resource box is to identify you as the author and to tell your readers that they can find more information that they may be looking for by visiting your website. Be sure to place your website link in this resource box.
Step Three: Spell check and grammar check your articles to make sure they do not contain any spelling errors or words out of place. You want your readers to look at you as an expert in your field. No one takes anything seriously from a poorly written article that is full of mistakes. (Most word processors will have a spelling and grammar check built in to help you with this.)
Step Four: Submit your articles to directories where others can find them to read. Also, allow others to use your articles with your resource box intact on their own websites. You will be surprised at the extra traffic you will gain, plus you will also gain links back to your site from other sites online.
Note: When submitting these articles, don’t just look for basic article directories to submit to. These are great to get your articles out there, but your writing may just get lost in the shuffle of so many topics and other content. Be sure to submit to niche directories that only pertain to your article topic. This is an important step because people will go to these niche directories only looking for information on your topic.
Step Five: Don’t just sit back and wait for the traffic to come, and it will…but start the process all over again. You can do this for every website you own. You will be amazed at the results. Over time, the more content you can create and submit to these niche directories, the faster your traffic will grow and the more your site will become a cash generating machine.
Do you see how easy this all is? Don’t quit doing the other things you do to generate traffic, as they all will serve their purpose; but make sure to spend your time most on the simple things that will generate the best outcome.
Do you want to win the war in internet marketing? I just added something to your arsenal that is nuclear. These five simple steps are the secret weapon for internet marketing soldiers to take on the enemy and win.

According to some statistics, only 5 percent of home based businesses managed to generate the kinds of profits that are dangled in front of people to get them to join some kind of MLM system. This is mostly because MLM schemes are not about selling products but about creating massive down lines. The bigger the downline, the higher the profits.
The fact is that after exhausting the warm market (friends, acquaintances, etc.), most people have to resort to some sort of lead generation, finally making cold calls and repeatedly pressuring prospects into becoming paid members in the down line. Problem is that these members are not likely to do what you did and you are stuck one level deep with very few members.
A good solution to this problem is the Funded Sponsoring Franchise System. As a practice, it has been around for quite a while, before the Internet came along. It is only recently, thanks mostly to the confusion between legitimate MLM opportunities and the uncountable pyramid schemes offered, that professional MLM system owners realized that a lot of people were not being able to promote their home based MLM business due to misleading information or simply a lack of adequate marketing skills and tools.
In a very rough form, the Funded Sponsoring Franchise System is basically a business-in-a-box model. Companies that are serious about expanding their markets, do not wish to have affiliates who cannot make money because in the end, it is a loss to the companies. Professional MLM system providers now include a small model of their own business which basically means, This is what we did to succeed, this is how we did it, and here some easy steps for you to follow to make your home based business a success so that we all can profit from it. Sounds nice doesn't it? What this entails for the owner of a home based MLM business is that all the time that you spent on making cold calls, convincing prospective down line members with long drawn out pitches about the greatness of your company and the uniqueness of your products, can be utilized elsewhere.
You no longer have to spend cash on purchasing leads or other marketing gimmicks that affiliate are usually having to do to break even. Your market need not be restricted, once you are out of all your warm-market prospects.
What the Funded Sponsoring Franchise System does is that it helps the average owner of a MLM home based business owner target already pre-qualified prospects that might be interested in working from home. Think of it as a large automatic lead generation system that is running for you all the time. You can promote your website if your business is online or you can simply promote products as an affiliate. The biggest benefit of the Funded Sponsoring Franchise System, as compared to other tools for affiliates, is that there is either little or, sometimes, absolutely no money that needs to be spent on advertising. After all, your little franchise is already funded.
Once this is made clear to all the prospective leads the system generates for you, it becomes easy to convert them, because who wouldn't wish to own a MLM home based business if it can actually sell itself with just a little help now and then?
Any good Funded Sponsoring Franchise run by a truly professional company will involve a detailed outline of a business plan that can easily be replicated by anyone, even people with no marketing skills or experience, to establish a home based business. Another thing people participating in Funded Sponsoring Franchises learn quickly is that while it might make good sense to focus on one area of business to generate a home based income, in the initial period when someone first begins to dabble in this field it is safest to build multiple streams of income. This means a careful and prudent selection of several income generating programs. There are many websites out there that provide training and information on home based businesses using the Funded Sponsoring Franchise System. One of the reasons why you need to spend so little out of pocket is that with multiple income streams you can reinvest the profits from one stream into promoting all the others at a very nominal cost. Following this simple principle, it is possible for anyone to build a substantial long-term residual income stream.
The training provided is not complicated or too technical, in fact it mostly consists of what you might call advice giving sessions in terms of audio clips, free leads, well paying affiliate programs, free websites, etc.
Most MLM home based businesses are failing because they simply do not know how to succeed. The Funded Sponsoring Franchise System is one of the few methods available that can guarantee a reasonable amount of success as the minimum.

Network marketing, also known as multi-level marketing, is the business model of profits moving downwards in a stream from the company owner to those who sell the products, either directly or indirectly.
In essence, it is the small companies or individuals who make most of the sales and have all of the contact with customers and do most of the advertising for the products. However,it is the parent company which is responsible for getting the product to the buyer. This tiered structure of network marketing is a business model that is in place for many large companies and is growing more common. Their services and products are advertised by smaller companies and buyers are recruited by them. The smaller companies are a kind of middleman between the client and the parent company, removing a lot of work from the hands of the parent company and hopefully making a decent income for themselves. MLM companies eliminate wholesalers, high cost of advertising, having employees, and they deliver product or service to the end consumer. This greatly reduces the expense of getting the product or service to the marketplace. MLM has paved the way for people to have their own business . MLM has been around for over forty years now and started as a part time business opportunity. However by the mid eighties many people were earning substantial incomes and were beginning to operate their business full time.
Network marketing is not for the persons who easily become tired of waiting. The very nature of this business requires a lot of patience. Network marketing is NOT about taking advantage of your friends and relatives. Only a few years ago, network marketing meant retailing to, and sponsoring people from, your "warm list" of prospects. Network Marketing is a familiar marketing strategy that involves direct recruitment of salespeople, who sell the product and recruit more salespeople,(their downline) building an extensive network. It is similar to other multi-level marketing approaches such as affiliate marketing.
Building an organization must come first.More people fail than succeed by trying to do it the other way around. They try to build the organization by emphasizing selling. It is important point to remember.Your sales must come as the natural result of building an organization.
Network marketing is an excellent way to earn extra money without compromising what you are currently doing.Network marketing is sharing information that results in product sales.
People involve themselves because they want to finally be compensated for what they consider their efforts are really worth. Network Marketing is all a numbers game. By numbers game I mean that the more people you contact or email, the more articles you write, the more videos you post, then the more leads and sales you will receive.
Network Marketing is the actual sale of products, services, or information to others within a cohesive and strongly built team environment. To break it down simply, however, Network Marketing is a process in which you share information while developing contacts. Network marketing is about recruitment because in a way by far the most important thing to do is to build a marketing team . People join your team to learn how they can become successful too.
Network Marketing is a proven business system, which has been in existence since the 1940's. Income is generated in two ways - through personal sales and bonus earned from team building. Network Marketing is particularly suited to people with family commitments as it offers them an opportunity to start a business on a part time basis with very little capital.
The opportunity now exists for enterprising people to use their talents and skills to build businesses based both on selling and on finding and supporting the efforts of others.
Network marketing is one of the best places where you can find the opportunity to develop a winning mindset. But only those who are willing to learn can hope to benefit from this opportunity.
Network Marketing is advancing through the same growing pains that the franchise industry went through in the past. Because network marketing relies on developing and keeping trusted relationships, the product quality and service is often much higher than standard retail brands.
Internet prospecting is a tool that enables you to identify people who have an interest in a home business. It will still be up to you to personally contact these people and help them.
Internet and network marketing are similar, in that you want your message to be seen by those who are interested in your offering. This is nowadays the strategy to build your internet home based business. The Internet allows you to build a larger marketing network that you will be able to use more effectively. The network marketing strategy still needs to be created for the online marketing network.
Success is based on following very basic principles and remembering that this is a serious business for serious people. Some people make a great deal of money through their respective businesses, but only a small number at the very top have managed to pull a significant income. Success requires a business owner to build a large network of people who buy and sell products/services and recruit others who'll do the same. The internet now enables network marketers to build national and international businesses from the comfort of their home. Therefore the opportunity is available to you too.

Hosting can cost from $1 to over $100, though the average price is usually less than $20. Sound cheap? Well, it is until you multiply that number by 100 or even 1,000. And, if you're going to be a serious Internet marketer, eventually, you will have that many sites in your repertoire. This is why it's important to consider free hosting alternatives. One of the best is Squidoo. What is Squidoo? Squidoo is a powerful Web 2.0 site that allows people to create their own blogs, (also known as lenses). There is no charge for hosting, and virtually no limit to how many lenses can be created. Additionally, Squidoo participates in Adsense revenue-sharing. This means that they will allow you to keep revenue from your Adsense clicks a certain percentage of the time. The exact percentage will depend on what is being promoted. So, what's the best way to create a money-making Squidoo lens? Well, first make sure you can write solid articles surrounding whatever your official website or affiliate program is about. Don't fall into the temptation to just post a bunch of advertisements on your lens. Readers will only be put off by your lens and not click on any ads, whether they are your own links or Adsense. It's much better to provide valuable information that will build up interest to your product or service rather than advertise it outright. Anyway, as you are writing your articles, don't forget that you want to try and make secondary income from Adsense, should your reader not click on any of your links. To do this you will need to incorporate keywords that Adsense bots will pick up. Try to use more popular keywords, since this will net you more money. In fact, if you can, consider buying a list containing the most expensive Adsense keywords. You should be able to find these easily by doing a basic search on Google or another search engine. Once you get it, find the keywords that best match what you're talking about and use them 2 to 6 percent of the time throughout your text. If you do things right, the more expensive keywords will get integrated into your lens. Granted, you won't always get the revenue, but at least when you do, you can be assured that it will be high. Okay now, at this point many Adsense gurus might feel uncomfortable at the thought of sharing any revenue with another company. They may feel that it's better to just get a regular hosting account for their blogs than to go that route. Well, again, there's still the issue of the numbers game if you do massive Internet marketing. But there's another issue at stake presence. Squidoo is already indexed by search engines, and has a high page rank. This means that any lenses produced on their network are more likely to get noticed by search engines than a new, no-name website. And for newbies who may not know how to rank high on their own, this is a major advantage that can't be overlooked. In conclusion, Squidoo is the best place to turn if you're looking for an affordable way to create a blog or series of blogs. There are no recurring charges, but you will have to share any Adsense revenue you make. This is a disadvantage, but Squidoo's popularity in search engine listings should overcome it at least for the newbie.

In the beginning there was the marketer. There are certain truths you come to understand the more time you spend making money online - or trying to. Witness the evolution of marketing online. Whether you are new to the net game or an experienced pro, there is one thing you will have in common if you are moving towards entrepreneurial success. As you read this article you will realize what you have in common with all the other million dollar earners online, and what you're missing that can take you from where you are to where you want to be. So let's get started shall we? J I will begin with a bullet point list and short explanation of the marketing necessities you want to have: For starters, most established markets will already be using this by default: - A Domain: something specific to what you want to promote like (ex.www.mysite.com)
- Hosting: a place to put your site, if you're planning on making money - find a paid solution so you look like a credible business and you cut back on high traffic crashes.
- A website: your image your presence and your marketing message, don't get pulled into the trap I see everywhere of trying to put too many choices on your website. Maximize on the effectiveness by only giving one purpose to a page. For example if you want to build a list - focus all your efforts and copy on that singular focus, if you want your site to sell a product, then only put that focus on your site. You'll also need a good editing program, and an ftp software to get this up and moving.
- A merchant account: If you have something to sell, people will need a way to pay you. There are a ton of great providers out there, but there are a specific few that give your visitors the security to pull out a credit card with assurance.
- An Autoresponder: This is a real necessity if you want a business and not just a hobby. When you have a family to support this is a real no brainer. This is your email follow up service. You get a name added to your list and this is where they go. You will use this to stay in touch and build relationships with your customers and soon-to-be customers.
- A helpdesk: in the beginning when your business and sales are small you can handle all the little questions and emails yourself. One of the things that will keep a small business is small is thinking "I can do that myself" if you want to truly grow; you need to share the workload (petty tasks) and focus on what you truly want to do creatively for your business.
- Membership Site software: once you're addicted to the internet marketing lifestyle, you will realize this oh-so-simple fact, it's great to make a sale, but it's even better to make a sale once and get paid for it every month. Continuity is king.
- Teleconferencing software: If you want an easy way to create and crank out high ticket products, audios and a transcript is an easy to make, high-value product.
Of course everything we've touched on so far only scratches the surface, but these are the necessities that not only get you started but will make you above average. Keep your eyes peeled for more articles that will take you from beginner to winner. We'll cover resources that will help you stay organized and expand your business to make you truly prosperous such as: -PDF creators and converters - Mind mapping software - Site tools to make your business a set and forget it - money magnet - Internet video and audio creating software - And the how-to's of outsourcing Keep learning, and most important: be persistent - it will be a quality you share with the biggest money makers online today...

I've seen people who have been stuck in the same Network Marketing company for years and still haven't made a dime. But day after day -month after month they continue to push and pull themselves along.
I wonder to myself "what's going on in their minds?" and I wonder why on earth they would stay with the same company or the same people if they're not seeing any progress.
While I'm 100% against quitting. Obviously you're guaranteed to fail if you quit. I believe change can be one of the biggest benefits of your life.
Here's why:
The thing about change: while many people fear it, it's actually something you should WELCOME, because it's usually the BEST thing that can happen to your business.
Change can provide you with a much-needed "kick in the butt," bringing energy and excitement back into a business that may be getting predictable (and suffering as a result).
And when you learn to accept change, you'll be able to bring a fresh and exciting vision to your Network Marketing business, and open yourself up to brand-new opportunities.
Best of all, when you're open to change, you become a much more confident entrepreneur, and you also become more flexible, which will allow you to evolve along with a changing market.
So I'd like to encourage all of you, not just to grudgingly accept or tolerate change, but to EMBRACE it, even SEEK IT OUT!
Sure it's hard to mess with something that's working well and I still advocate change anyway BUT if you're not seeing success or the results that you want then by all means push-force yourself forward to make the necessary changes to turn your life and business around. If your business is not moving forward every single day then you've got a serious problem.
You should be seeing some if only a little progress in your Network Marketing business EVERY SINGLE DAY.
If you're business is at a stand still or even worse - going backwards just like today's economy then you must make some changes either in your business or your life. It could be your mindset, the people you associate with everyday, your upline or simply the way you're conducting your business.
I've noticed in my life when things are not going the way I'd like them to go, 99% of the time it's my fault and fixing it is simply a matter of CHANGING whatever it is that's causing me pain or causing me to stay in the same place.
I like to think that it's that willingness to make changes that has allowed me and BreakOut Sponsoring to grow into the company we are today!
So I know that change can seem intimidating, and down right scary sometimes, but to paraphrase that pop song from a few years ago, a change really will do you good!
Dedicated To Your Success

As an affiliate marketer you know full well that the quickest way to get your sale and your commissions is to get your prospect to their target as fast as possible with as few of clicks as possible.
The fastest way to do that, of course, is to link directly to the pay page. Unfortunately, due to the terms and conditions of some affiliate programs this may not be a possibility. That's where the landing page comes in.
One of the reasons to use a landing page then, is to stay within the terms of the affiliate agreement you agreed to when you signed up for the program you're promoting. Most programs will offer you some sort of tool in the form of a banner or premade landing page that you can use for this purpose, however, using something a little more unique than what thousands of other marketers are using typically increases conversions exponentially.
Many people use PPC marketing strategies to generate traffic to their affiliate campaigns, this is the second reason why you may want to consider using a landing page. Some PPC search engines no longer allow direct linking to the merchant so, if you want to advertise using their services you have to link to a domain or site that you own. Of course, this is where your landing page will be.
The third reason you might want to use one is to give yourself more control over your campaigns. Maybe one program or product isn't converting as well as you would like. If you're using a landing page all you simply need to do is swap the links from one program to another, or, change the landing page itself to an entirely different one.
Of course, these are three simple and quick reasons why you would want to use a landing page for your affiliate marketing but you can quickly see how great of a tool they really can be.

If you've started an online business, you know that you need to promote consistently to get traffic and sales. Although there are many ways you can promote, article marketing delivers great, on-going results at minimal cost. In this article we'll look at the top three tips for using articles to market your business. Here they are:1. Post articles on article directoriesNot familiar with article marketing? Marketing using articles means offering free information as a form of advertising. Not only will your business become more widely known, it will also gain respect and credibility.Article marketing is a form of advertising, but it's much more effective than advertising, because when you stop paying for an ad, you lose traffic. Your articles stay online, and will bring traffic to your Web site for years.Once you've written an article, post it to article directories online. You can choose a general directory, or one which is more targeted to your audience.Over time, your articles will spread across the Web, bringing a flow of traffic. You won't see the full effects of your article publishing push for months, so it's important that when you start article marketing, you keep creating and publishing them - their effect on your site's traffic is cumulative.2. Post articles to your own Web sites and blogsIn addition to posting articles on article directories, post them to your site as well. This increases your site's content, and will boost your site in the search engine rankings. Before you start publishing your articles to your site, create a structure, so that your articles form a real resource for your site's visitors. Although you'll still get traffic if you just dump all your articles into an "Articles" directory, you'll get better results if you think about leading your site's visitors around your site to make a purchase or take other action when they arrive at one of your articles. After you've published an article on your site, don't move it elsewhere on your site unless it's absolutely necessary, because if you do, you'll break links which other sites have created to reference specific articles.3. Post article collections to sites like Squidoo and ScribdThe more backlinks (links pointing to your site) the better. There are many ways you can get more backlinks. One of the easiest ways is to post your articles on sites like Squidoo and Scribd.Squidoo allows you to create "lenses", one-page topic sites. Create several lenses on topics relevant to your site, and post article collections to these lenses, pointing back to your site. Not only are your lenses a source of backlinks, they're also a source of traffic.Squidoo is very popular; you can build a real community there, providing further support to your site. The Scribd site lets you put documents online, and make them public. Think of Scribd as YouTube for documents. Collect your articles into collections, and post them to Scribd. You can post your articles in a variety of formats: text, HTML, Adobe PDF, and more.As with Squidoo, you can build a community at Scribd when people make your documents favorites. Scribd will bring your site traffic, and will increase your backlinks too.So there you are - you now have three powerful ways in which you can use article marketing to promote your online business.

For some time now I have become disillusioned with running my own traditional style business. You know the one where you have to rent premises, pay rates, employ staff, keep large amounts of stock and a million of other time and financially consuming things. Anyway, a couple of months ago, I decided to investigate the possibility of starting my own internet business or as they say in the trade, become an internet marketer.
During my search of the net and on my many visits to literally hundreds of sites, I was cordially invited to join the many free courses and obtain numerous free newsletters. This was great, all this information was soon winging its way to me. However, it was only on further investigation that I realised that the newsletters were only telling me so much but to get the really important stuff I had to send money. Now don’t get me wrong, I am a realist, I know there is no such thing as a free lunch, but hey, if I was to buy everything that everyone suggested I must have and really needed, not to mention the $5,000 courses and seminars that only a true internet marketer should attend then a remortgage of the family home was inevitable. Not being the impulsive type I refrained from enrolling for every must have marketing item. And I am glad I did as you will discover later.
What I did find most interesting and very amusing was some of the Headlines of the many automated emails I received and I thought I would share some of these with you.

The common perception is that the hierarchical structure of network marketing looks like a pyramid scheme. And while pyramid schemes are illegal. To equate this to network marketing is simply not fair. The way the company is structured doesnÃt decide the organizationÃs legality. If at all the federal government would be like a pyramid.
The right kind of network marketing is legal since it entails marketing a product and the volume of products sold is what determines just how much amount of money the company (and consequently the distributor) makes.
In order to succeed in the network marketing business, you need to know what youÃre getting into and have an idea of how much work it will entail to meet your goals. It may take a while, but starting slowly but surely will translate a much higher success rate than just plunging head first without prior thought whatsoever.
1.First you need to research on the company thatÃs recruiting you or you plan on joining. Since more than 90% of network marketing companies fail within a span of 2 years, it is only smart to avoid untested companies. DonÃt worry, there are plenty still to choose from since about 1 in 1000 network marketing companies are still standing after more than 5 years.
So in looking at a prospective network to join, youÃre better off going with one that has a proven track record. DonÃt get swayed with the pitch new companies throw at you saying as one of the first people in the network, youÃll achieve your financial goals in no time. ItÃs ok to be slow and steady so long as you know, your network wonÃt fold up on you at breakneck speed. Research resources in check out these companies can be found from the FTC (http://www.ftc.gov/) and several other online consumer resources.
2. It is important that your sponsor is someone you respect and trust. This person will be your trainer and coach. Even if youÃre part of a good organization that offers good products, if your sponsor is someone you donÃt necessarily trust, being able to succeed may prove difficult. The sponsor is there to take care of you as you help the company grow. If you feel he is recruiting you simply to gain numbers for himself, then it may be wise to think twice about the venture. Besides, as you plan on building something long-term with this network, you might as well work with someone whom you like.
3. Check to see it you are required to secure permits. Although most companies will take care of sales tax and other similar matters, it is only smart to know for sure to be on the safe side.
4. Upon joining and receiving you kit, you are part of the network and of the business. So as part of the organization, make sure you know your products and can answer any questions about them. Best way to do this is to use them. Get to know the features but more importantly, the benefits it brings to the consumers. The most successful distributors are the ones who know everything about their products and are genuinely excited about them.
5. Listen to your sponsor and upline. TheyÃve been at this business longer than you have and may know something that you donÃt right now. Great thing about network marketing is that the plans for success have already been paved. Although it doesnÃt mean you canÃt try out new ways and ideas, but if something works, why not start from that?
6. In starting off any venture, go out with a set of goals you want to achieve over a specific period of time. This will help pace yourself on how much effort you need to put in and it gives you a gauge to measure your work against.
7. Start forming you network by making a list of people you know. Include even those whom you feel you could ever go up to. If the company hosts party-style, youÃd likely host an opening that will introduce your business to people. Other methods to promote your business are through printed collaterals like flyers and classified ads. Be ready to talk to people about your business. As you do your rounds, ask for referrals from clients and friends and if possible, participate in trade shows.
8. Finally, even if you can work from your home, treat this business as just that - a business. If you go out thinking this is just some hobby, the attitude will reflect in how you are seen by your clients and your downline. Remember, you are running a business backed by a reputable corporation so feel confident about this and that attitude will take you further.
While some will go for the get-rich-quick way, chances are very great that these will explode in their faces at the same pace that they went for it. Going slow may seem a lot of work but itÃs the smarter way to go. In time, as you build on your network and look after your downline as well as your clients, the benefits that network marketing brings will come to you with greater satisfaction.

Imagine two shops that receives 100 customer each every day. Of these hundred customers 40 always find and buy what they need in each of these two shop. Of these 40 that buy 30 come from across the road where fewer people live. Imagine that one of these shops decides to relocate across the road to the smaller population to be nearer to her customers and serve them better. Obviously because of fewer people she attracts less customers to her shop. However because of the closer relationships the customers can now request for what they want stocked. As a result not only do all the customers to her shop buy, they buy more often. This is the power of niche-marketing.
Remember 'Differentiate or Die', a noble concept peddled not so long ago for survival of corporations? Online it is 'Niche or Die'. This is becoming increasingly critical for the small internet businesses.
Niche marketing is a simple concept that involves targeting very specific keywords and optimizing your website and internet marketing for those specific terms. This practice can help a business, even one in a very competitive online category, to gain an advantage in the search listings.
You probably have heard that the internet has leveled the playing field for businesses small or large; those with huge budgets and those with shoe string budgets. As much as this is true, you will quickly discover that no sooner than you have rolled out a Pay per Click campaign, that your moneyed competitors are willing to bid 10 times more than you can even afford - a strategy called loss leader. As an online business person you are ill-equipped to market to the high traffic keywords - read huge markets- both monetarily and capacity wise. Unless you like the feeling of your head cramped in a vice, you are better of targeting more low-traffic yet closely related keywords. Though the internet does give you access to these huge markets theoretically, you will be quickly overwhelmed trying to satisfy it.
As a small business, trying to fight for the same market as itunes.com or amazon.com is often suicidal. However you could provide exclusively East-African Music and compete very effectively with itunes or sell specifically motivational books and compete effectively with amazon. These smaller markets provide niches which as a small internet business you can not only satisfy but easily over-deliver. Niche markets may provide less traffic but when well structure they give you more business.

The hardest part about making money from your blog is actually to start making money.
The first major hurdle you need to jump is the $1 a day hurdle. Making that elusive $1 a day is much harder than people think, but I believe if you take these few simple steps you will be well on your way to making $1 a day.
1. Make Sure Your Niche Is Something You Enjoy
Personally I have found it so much easier making money from blogs that I enjoy writing for. I know a lot of experts are telling people to pick the high paying keywords to target, I think it is a whole lot easier - and enjoyable to make money from a blog that is based on a topic you are interested it.
Blogging in a niche you are interested in and enjoy means that you will be more committed, write more content and be much more diligent with your promotion techniques.
2. Write, Write, and Write Some More
If you want to start making money quickly, you need to have a reason for people to visit your website. The more content you have, the more reasons you are giving people to visit your blog. Make sure you content is keyword targeted. A Fantastic product I use to find traffic driving, targeted keywords is Micro Niche Finder, it's not free but pays itself off very quickly.
Micro Niche Finder lets you find the keywords that are not only have high search counts, but also low competition.
3. Promote Your Content
Notice how I said 'Promote Your Content' NOT 'Promote Your Blog'?
This is because we are looking for high traffic quantities - that are targeted. Let me ask you a question: When you are looking to find out something on the internet what do you search for?
The Keyword or Phrase
Most people don't necessarily look for a website when searching the internet, they search for content. So what we need to do is make sure our now keyword targeted content is being promoted effectively. This is best done through article marketing.
Article submission is highly effective. I have had one of my articles receive over 10,000 views and 1,600 clicks!
4. Monetize Your Blog
This is where a lot of bloggers fail. They don't know how to monetize a new blog properly. Most start by trying to sell their 125×125 ad spaces or text link ads, but who wants to buy an ad spot on a brand new blog that has no traffic history?
I have tested a fair few different methods on new blogs and my current favourite way to monetize a new blog is Google Adsense. The reason I have recently started loving Adsense is:
* You don't have to go looking for advertisers
* You get paid per click (Don't have to wait for sales)
* Easy to get accepted into Adsense
* Reasonable Payout Leves
5. Optimize Ad Placement
I think the reason that most people do not make money from Adsense is because they have choose the wrong ad sizes and put them in the wrong spot. I am not saying my ad placement is perfect, as I know there are still ways to improve on the ad placement, but there are a few simple ways that you can improve your CTR to over 10%.
I think if you put these 5 steps into motion you will be well on your way to earning atleast $1 a day from your blog. You can then start pushing for $5 a day, then $10, and building it up until you are making a full-time income online.

Publication of these articles is a way to help the writers, advertisers, publishers and webmasters as they go about their business in the Internet.
Free reprint article means you are allowing publishers to publish your articles on their site, newsletters and ezines provided that they follow your Terms of Reprint. If they do not, you are in the position to ask for a cash payment for your article used. The Terms of Reprint is found on the top of the article.
One thing you have to guard yourself of, as a writer, is the illegal use of your article. This is why your Terms of Reprint is very important. This protects you as a writer and sole owner of the article from plagiarists and those who illegally posts or use your articles. It ensures that you will enjoy your pay for all the hard work, not monetarily speaking though, but through promotional ways like the ìresource boxî attached at the very end of your article. This helps in generating traffic to the authorÃs website and a probable increase in sales for his own online business.
The Terms of Reprint are often very liberal in nature so anybody in his right mind can follow through. Remember, you were the one who sweat it out on your article, spend 12 hours doing it only to find out you cannot benefit a single from it. Hmmm!!!
Aside from the cash payment you may get from those who have improperly used your article, you can also call the attention of the webhost carrying the site where your article is illegally posted. The Terms of Service of most webhost have policies that prohibit plagiarism or contents obtained illegally. The webhost has the authority to officially shut down that site.
Who benefits from your articles?
ï WRITER. You as a writer benefit from your articles through the resource box you provide at the end of each article. Plus all benefits including getting published, free publicity, image as an expert, establish lasting contacts and increase traffic.
ï WEBMASTER. Free content to build strong keywords for ratings is what webmasters are looking for. Thus, it is very important for them that articles are informative and useful.
ï ADVERTISER. These people are on the lookout for websites with good, steady flow traffic where they can advertise their products. Free content and articles can provide them with these through the links attached at the bottom of each. If advertisers see that articles are posted to several good sites then they will advertise on these sites and yours. This is a way to have a good return of investment for advertisers.
ï EZINE PUBLISHER. Of course, any publisher would want good quality articles in his newsletter or publication to drive in more visitors and maintain the regulars.
ï END USER/READERS. Internet surfers come in categories ñ students, internet marketers, online businessmen, educators, etc. All of these people have reasons why they need information about certain topics but everyone has one common reason why ñ to learn.
Enough of the benefits, you may know all the good it will do to you but you got to start somewhere, right? What you need to know is how to do it. Here are quick, easy, anyone-can-do-it-ways you need to follow to start your pen writing now.
1. Gather your ideas, establish the main idea and focus. Articles that you will produce must have strong relevance to your website because this will direct readers, potential visitors, to your site. This is why you should create informative articles to which everybody can learn from.
Make your articles to two parts. Put the first part on other sites with the NEXT link at the bottom. The second part will be on your own site.
2. List down five or more key points and provide explanation for each. These points should give the core information you think needed by readers. How-to articles most often use this method to explain steps in doing something.
3. Simple introduction that captures and summarizes what you will cover in your article is required. Readers will know instantly if the information they need is included in the article then they would continue reading.
4. After a capturing introduction, end your article with a blast. Summarize all the main points and bring your article to a natural close. A tip would be to review some articles in an article directory and study how authors end their articles.
5. After you have formed the body of your article, except with some minor revisions perhaps, you can now add a catchy, attention grabbing title. The formulation of a good title is important because this is where you can generate visitors to your site. Publishers scan titles of articles, choose several that grab their attention and post it on their publications and ezines.
6. Be conscious of the length of your articles. Usually, most publishers accept 500-700 words with a ceiling of 1,000 words. An articleÃs quality is not dependent on the number of words but on the content and information it provides.
7. Have your own resource box. This is the reason why you wrote your article in the first place ñ to promote your site, products or services. Do not waste it. This is the only pay you will get from your article. See to it that you make it simple, devoid of any promotional words, avoid an obvious advert and include only one link to avoid confusion.
A resource box is a bio information, you state your name, contact details, perhaps a sentence about that presents yourself as an expert to establish credibility and a sentence about your site with the link.
Do all these and you are ready to go on your way to being popular even just in the web.

Because of the other expenses involved in operating a business, those who are just starting a home-based business may feel that decorating the office seems like an unaffordable extravagance that can wait until you become rich from your business. However, your home office is where you will be spending an inordinate amount of time and, the way you feel when you’re working can make a difference in productivity.
Most will not be able to afford a professional decorator or organizer to come into their home office and put everything in its place, creating a friendly, inviting atmosphere. A vast majority of home business owners will be doing the work themselves or with the help of a spouse or children. For the fortunate ones that have a separate room in which to set up their office, the task is much easier. Others will have to carve out a space from the family living area in which to work privately and without interruption.
The ones with a separate room for their home-based business can start from scratch by emptying the room of all items, including furniture and pictures. You may decide to paint the walls to create an atmosphere more conducive for work and, the color will be an individual choice. However, light colors or earth tones have been shown to provide a better work environment and to reduce stress and spark creativity.
You can then make a floor plan on a plain piece of paper to determine where each item and piece of furniture will go so that your home-based business office is organized and everything is easily accessible, including your office chair. You can also create a materials flow chart to help with placement of the office equipment. Then follow the plan when you put the furniture back into the room. There may be some pieces that won’t fit, such as beds or dressers that were in a former bedroom, but they don’t belong in your office. So, consider storing these pieces in your basement, garage or a storage unit or selling them or giving them to charity.
You may need a file cabinet and the top can be used to hold your phone, fax machine or copier and if you have one machine that performs all these functions, the top of a file cabinet can be an ideal spot and space saver. You can use an open book case for storage of office supplies as well as books concerning your business. Be sure nothing unrelated to your home business is allowed on the shelves in your work space. Consider a traditional office when deciding what to place in your home-based business office. Keep it professional. A few favorite pictures on the wall can improve the working environment as well as a potted plant, just to add some ambience to an otherwise sterile work center.
